Biosand is a combination of wax and sand, and you sweep it down in the rifts of the pavement. Then you heat up the product to 120 degrees centigrade, and in a few minutes the product will be hard and impossible for weed to force through.

Biosand is delivered as sand and are 100 percent environmentally compatible. Today Biosand is used for example in pavements and in pedestrian ways, where powerful cleaning machines usually is used. These machines normally sweep up the loose sand from the rifts, but with Biosand this is no longer a problem.
